Kawata Kazuki (Solomon) is from an agency called Office Keyword, which revolves around TV and Radio programs, just like MC Kikaku does. He’s not associated with any agency, as he’s freelance. Miura Ayme (Asmodeus) is an artist, cosplayer, seiyuu, and a Visual Kei vocalist. But when most of the games they make revolves more so around otome and joseimuke, why would NTT Solmare prioritize hiring talented and newbie female seiyuus for their VN games, but not do the same when it comes to male seiyuus for the Shall We Date? series, which they’re most popular for? I’d like to know the fandom’s thoughts on this as well, but below is a combination of information that both my friend and I found on the Seiyuus of Obey Me!:Īgency profiles of the seiyuus from MC Kikaku: This means that NTT Solmare very much did have the budget to hire professional seiyuus and even ones with small followings to voice act in their games. When I looked up the list of seiyuus in that series, I found out that NTT Solmare hired very notable seiyuus that played major roles in popular anime, some of them being: Horie Yui, Hikasa Yoko, and Suzaki Aya. This brings me to my next point, concerning a visual novel series that NTT Solmare also created, Moe! Ninja Girls. The MC Kikaku agency focuses on TV and radio programs, which is a weird place to go to hire people as seiyuus, but that’s all good. But to my surprise, I found out that the agency they were in didn’t focus on voice acting for anime or games at all. Within a few minutes, a friend of mine who had access to Japanese resources, found the agency that 8 of the seiyuus came from. We thought that maybe NTT Solmare just didn’t have the budget to hire seiyuus with even a small following. I was curious about why I hadn’t seen any other roles from them, let alone what agencies they’re evenfrom. So one day, My friends and I were talking about seiyuus when the topic of the Obey Me! seiyuus came up.
